At the end of the day, we want your wedding to be the very best that it can be - which is why we're happy to provide some time-tested tips for selecting a location for your wedding.
When selecting a venue for your wedding, it's important to take into account the overall look and atmosphere you wish to achieve. Your chosen wedding style will determine which venues are most suitable for you and your partner.
What time of the year do you want to get married? Once you have an idea of a season, like fall or spring, come up with a list of potential of wedding venues in Blue Ridge, GA, like Toccoa House Properties.
One of the most important steps involved in choosing a wedding venue is to tour the space. Don't be afraid to ask pertinent questions. If the venue manager seems like they have better things to do than answer your questions, look elsewhere.
Once you narrow down your wedding venue choices, consider the amenities and services the venue offers. Be sure to weigh what they offer against your needs and budget to further narrow down your choices.
If you think your guests will hate a particular wedding venue location, why consider it in the first place? Choosing a destination - like Toccoa House Properties - that is within a short driving distance of grocery stores and restaurants is almost always better than a hard-to-access venue.
Do yourself a favor and check out the wedding venue's Google reviews and reviews on other platforms. You can also ask for opinions from people you trust, like friends and family members. Don't be afraid to reach out directly to people who have used the wedding venue previously. A wedding venue in Blue Ridge for couples in Cape Coral, FL, should be excited to show you their online reviews. If you notice a disparaging review, try asking the owner of the wedding venue to explain their side of the story before writing them off completely.
Try coming up with a list of pros and cons of each wedding venue that you're considering. Doing so can help you whittle your list down to one or two choices. Remember to trust your gut throughout this process. If you've come down to two choices, and something about one of the venues rubbed you the wrong way, it's probably for a reason.
Once you've settled on a wedding venue, it's time to book! As most wedding venues will tell you, try booking your venue at least a year before your wedding is set to take place. Doing so will give you plenty of time to plan. If you need help preparing, don't be afraid to work with a professional wedding planner to make your life easier.
When it comes to tying the knot with your soon-to-be spouse, there's a lot on your plate to consider. Choosing the right wedding space can mean the difference between the wedding of your dreams and an experience you'd like to forget. With six fully-furnished cabins, 17 acres of natural beauty, an array of outdoor activities, a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage, and much more, there's no better option than our wedding venue in Blue Ridge for couples in Cape Coral, FL- Toccoa House Properties.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. —
Fire crews battled flames that engulfed the Boathouse Tiki bar and Grill near the Cape Coral Yacht Club on Thursday night.
The Cape Coral Fire Department responded to the scene on Driftwood Parkway around 9:40 p.m.
The fire is believed to have sparked in the kitchen after the restaurant was closed and employees called it in. Firefighters fought the flames for several hours.
Crews say there was a heavy fuel load, including the thatched roof, fully restocked alcohol for the bar and the windy conditions.
Those factors caused challenges for the firefighters who used handlines, elevated master stream and the fire boat to attack the fire from the river side of the restaurant.
According to reports, there was only one fire hydrant available and crews had to use water from the Caloosahatchee River.
"We did have multiple issues with, water supplies down here. There was only one fire hydrant available. So then we also resorted to taking water out of the of the river to help fight fire. And at one point we did have a boat on scene that was helping fight the fire with the boat, too," Milliken said.
Crews say the fire is contained, but firefighters are working to put out any flare ups and hot spots. Firefighters did all they could, but according to Cape Coral Fire Battalion Chief Ian Milliken - the restaurant is a total loss.
The Cape Coral Boathouse restaurant reopened on Thursday following Hurricane Milton.
NBC2 has spoken with Cape Coral residents who say they are heartbroken with the loss of the restaurant.
"My husband and I have been here for just about four years, and that was our first restaurant. That way everyone. Two anniversaries, birthdays, and it's gone. I can't believe it's just all gone. It's horrible," Cape Coral resident Kim Messina said.
Cape Coral Fire Inspectors and the State Fire Marshals Office completed their investigation where they say the cause is undetermined, but they are unable to rule out electrical. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
"My thoughts are with all that are involved to the employees, they have no work right now. And yeah, I hope they will recover and come back for everybody," Cape Coral resident Elizabeth Reitinger said.
Firefighters will remain on scene throughout the day to put out any hot spots that may arise.
You can count on NBC2 to provide updates as they are received.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A popular Southwest Florida restaurant, The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill, was destroyed the night it reopened following Hurricane Milton after a massive fire erupted and tore through the building.
It happened Thursday night on Driftwood Parkway. According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, the fire happened just after closing time.
CBS affiliate WINK News spoke with the fire department's battalion chief Ian Milliken who reportedly said three employees were finishing up their closing duties when the fire broke out in the kitchen. The employees reportedly tried to put out the blaze but the wind fanned the flames, causing the fire to spread.
Everyone was able to get out safely and no one was hurt, fire crews said.
The wind, coupled with the restaurant's thatched roof and fully restocked alcohol for the bar, made it hard for the firefighters fighting the blaze, the department said.
Fire crews also reportedly had issues getting water to put out the fire. WINK reported there was only one fire hydrant near the restaurant and crews had to use river water to help extinguish the flames. The department said it utilized its fire boat to help attack the blaze.
The fire was eventually put out, leaving the charred remains of the restaurant.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and crews are still monitoring the site on Friday.
On Thursday morning, The Boathouse posted on its Facebook page announcing it had officially reopened to customers, saying "Paradise is calling your name" and telling people to "Grab the crew and sail in today!"
The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill also has a location in Fort Myers.
The Boathouse management team said a verified GoFundMe has been set up to help support the restaurant's staff.
